Still Alive
Hi all. Been a while since I posted. You know me.....I tend to disappear for a bit and then come back out of the blue. My car died a few weeks ago so that was a fun thing to deal with. Figures after putting a grand into it for repairs, the timing belt decides to snap on the Jersey Turnpike. I wasn't going to put any more money into it so I went out and bought a new car. Too bad I had to use the money from my mortgage refinance for a down payment but it was definitely necessary. I didn't buy anything exquisite but needed great gas mileage due to my commute to work so I got a 2007 Nissan Sentra. It has the blue tooth phone system which is what I really wanted so I'm happy.
Other things going on:
- Caught up on Battlestar Galatica. Watched 2 seasons in like 2 weeks which was insane.
- Watching Supernatural now. Really cool show and just finished the 1st season.
- Heroes and Dexter are by far my favorite shows. My brother in law works for Showtime and I told him if they cancel Dexter, I'm going to pay them a visit.
- was told I am going to Las Vegas for the NBA All Stars. I've never been there so that should be interesting. I'm going to try and have Nicole and Alyssa come out and visit since they've never been there either.
- Got a new tv and redid my whole home theater. My den is movie and game central now. Well, that's when I can actually use the new stuff since everyone in this house wants to use it also.
Not much else going on really. Just work and catching up on shows.
