This set is brought to you by the brilliant (and non-geographically-challenged, unlike me) tongzhi78 (And yes, you're right that Spain is closer to New England :P)

What is your favourite holiday and why?

It used to be Christmas, it really did. Despite my messed up adolescence, Christmas as a child was one of my favorite things ever. My mom would start the Christmas music in November, we had decorations everywhere, and it was usually just us three, me, my mom and dad. I look back on those days and am so glad I have those memories.

Then I got married and had to share my holidays with my now ex-in-laws who completely ruined that holiday for me; between traveling, expectations, drama, all their BULLSHIT, I grew to hate and despise the holiday cause nothing good ever came of it.

The one holiday they did not manage to ruin for me is Halloween, which has the coolest history, images and storytelling anyway, so that would need to count as my favorite now.

Who is your favourite monarch (dead or alive) and why?

I'm not sure I could call him a favorite, but Henry VIII. I know he was a self-centered narcissist with a literal God complex, and his relations with women were less than savory, but that guy had balls. Big, swollen ones, probably, given his girth, but when the Catholic church wouldn't let him divorce Catherine of Aragon? He just up and started his own church. Fuck you, Pope and the Vatican too. And he was a colorful character, that's for damn sure.

What pets did you have as a child and what pets do you have now?

I had twin dachsunds - Hans and Fritz - when I was six. They were great babies, but Hans, at least, had an unfortunate habit of chasing trucks, like, say UPS trucks and it resulted in his early demise. I had Fritz until he was fourteen and he was the best baby ever. I also had numerous cats: Fuzzy, April, Molly I, Molly II, Tommy, and Samantha as I was growing up. I currently have no pets, other than Kid's guinea pig, Susie. My cat Zoe died just before Christmas of old age; she was around 13, I believe. She was a true little angel and I miss her.

Thanks for the questions, sir! :D
