Win is not always a win
“What the hell am I doing here…” Nino grumbled to himself, preparing his 250cc bike, making sure everything’s right. In front of him was a long long road.
Beside him, there was his annoying class mate who caused all of this commotion, let’s call him The Prince Matsujun, full of himself with a big head guy, and self-centered. Just because he’s the only son of this school owner, it doesn’t mean that he could own everything and EVERYone in this school. At least that’s what Nino think.
Really, this stupid race was started because of their little argument. Both Nino and Jun were bad asses in the morning, especially that morning.
Apparently Jun got through a lonely night, his boyfriend, whatever his name, didn’t want to give him a blowjob when he’s getting all horny after reading a manga (adult one, of course), and Nino hadn’t got enough sleep, smashing his DS buttons trying to beat the last boss and completely failed till he finally realized that it’s the time to go to school already.
Bad-tempered guys hurriedly headed toward their class and got in to a big fight after their shoulders bumped at each other.
Won’t-lose-prince gave the poor gamer a challenge which he accepted half-heartedly just to save his pride as a man.
“Are you ready to face your death, Ninomiya?” Jun asked from other side.
“Don’t listen to him, Nino!” Aiba warned. “No…”
Nino snorted at Aiba, who kindly volunteering himself to be his umbrella boy.
“Racers have their own umbrella girls! Let me be yours, okay? Okay? Okay then…” reasoned Aiba right after the bet between Nino and the prince on. He’s doing what he wants though Nino didn’t think that he need one, especially one like Aiba.
“You,” Nino called Aiba. “Why are you wearing such a stupid swim suit?”
“You don’t like it? But Matsujun’s is wearing it too…”
Nino sighed as he studied Aiba, only wearing a bright green tight short instead of a nice swim suit, so lame, and he threw his gaze to where Matsujun’s umbrella boy’s standing.
That boy’s topless, and only putting on a pants. He’s standing far from Nino but he could tell that, oh God, that that pants fit his ass so nice and hot. The boy’s face was reddened by the weather and his cheeks flushed as if he felt shame to appear like that in public, maybe Matsujun forced him to. Poor guy.
Nino watched Matsujun run a finger on that boy’s bare arm, caressed him softly, as if it wasn’t Matsujun.
“You’ve put on sun block already?” Jun asked, and the boy shook his head as sheepish smile curved on his lips. Jun chuckled and smacked the boy’s head lightly (and lovingly?). “I don’t want you to get sun burnt!”
He asked his staff to bring him a bottle of sun block, and then he helped the boy, smearing the lotion all over the boy’s skin.
“Nino! Nino!” Aiba called him out.
“Who’s that Matsujun’s umbrella boy?” Nino asked his friend.
“Ohno Satoshi! Matsujun’s boyfriend.”
Nino wasn’t really surprised that Aiba could answer his question that quick. “Who didn’t give Matsujun blowjob?”
“That’s only a rumor. But I heard this one from somewhere, straight from the horse’s mouth, that… ah, better not telling you.”
“Ah fine.”
“What? You don’t wanna know?”
“You won’t tell me anyway.”
“Ah…” Aiba paused. “Well, they actually, broke up…”
Nino saw them talking closely, and laughed together. “But seems like they don’t…”
Both went silent, just right at that time, someone walked in to the track, bought along flag, and stood in between Nino and Jun.
“One lap. The first one reaching finish line is the winner.” He explained the simple rule. Nino and Jun exchanged look, staring at each other as if they’re going to pounce on each other. Both eyes were as sharp as knife and dangerous.
“Do your best Nino!” Aiba cheered him.
“I will.” Nino said as he took a glance at his rival.
“Win…” The boy said.
“For you?”
The boy just smiled weakly.
“I’ll count to three now…” the man said.
Nino looked straight ahead, gathered his concentration, and built strategy. He was indeed nervous, even though he wore gloves, he knew that his palms were sweaty. He tried to relax, taking a deep breath multiple times. His heart raced fast as the man started to count.
“Three…”
God I can’t lose.
“Two…”
Please.
“Three!
The man held the flag up and their battle’s begun.
“Matsujuuuunnn!! Matsujuuuuuuunnnn!!! Coooooolll!! Awesoooomeeee!!! Hooowwaaa!! Howwaaa!!” Aiba jumped high in the air, getting extremely excited when Jun reached the finish line first. Nino was after him, only few seconds behind, but still, he’s the loser and was betrayed by his umbrella boy, his own best friend, who was now busy congratulating Matsujun.
Nino threw his helmet away, somewhere near his bike. He walked lazily, feeling so annoyed of why he couldn’t win, he sat down on an empty bench. Nino’s taking off his gloves while watching Jun still poured with blessed and joy, being surrounded by people and got all attentions. And Jun totally forgot about…
His umbrella boy standing two meters away from Jun, hesitant to join the fun and finally turned around and walked away.
Nino’s eyes followed him, until he stopped and noticed Nino’s presence there. As lonely as him, as unwanted as him, he smiled encouragingly at Nino.
Without him realizing, Nino’s standing from his seat, slowly making his way to him, getting closer each step he take, and his heart…bounced and raced almost three times faster than when he’s racing with Jun. What was it?
Just four steps… and he’d get there.
“Have some plan tonight?” Nino asked.
The boy just shrugged. “Well…”
“Now you have…”
“Really?”
“Yeah…”
“What could that be…?”
“Hmm…” Nino smiled. “What about spending the night with me…?
“Ehh… sounds good…”
“I have a bike there…” Ohno smiled. “I was trying to say… wanna ride on my bike?”
“Okay…”
The boy ended up sitting on the back, clinging on to Nino tightly as the racer ready to dash.
From a far, they could hear a high voice shouted out loud. “SATOSHIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!! SATOSHI!!!!!!”
And another voice’s overlapping. “NINOOO!! NINOOO!!!!”
They were laughing all the way to Nino’s dormitory, well, to be exact, his best friend’s dormitory, named Sakurai Sho.

Title: Drabble #05
Pairing: Juntoshi
Ohno woke up around 11 that morning, his head ached so badly, and he didn’t know why he feels so cold. So he pulled his blanket up to his chin, looking for more warmth under the sheet. It’s still cold.
He started to feel uneasy as his lips trembling.
Just when he was about to call someone, he felt long arms slipped under his blanket, wrapping him, turned him to face those arms’ owner.
“Jun, am cold…” Ohno said, snuggling closer to Jun who rubbed his back now.
Jun hadn’t said anything, but he kept comforting Ohno, until he fell asleep again. And was still there until the next morning Ohno woke up again and his fever’s gone.
