An email I sent to the manager of the office cafeteria
Hi Rick,
I have a question, if you don't mind, about the price of today's Grille Special. I notice that the special is listed as a bacon provolone burger with fries at $4.75. However, when looking at the standard price list, a bacon burger (with, as far as I can tell, a choice of cheeses that would include provolone) comes to $2.95 and a side of fries is $.95. Now, my math has this coming out at $3.90 plus tax. There isn't any mention on the sign of an included drink or different cut of meat when ordering a special, so where exactly did my extra $.85 (plus $.04 after sales tax) go?
