So I sat this evening in the very front row of the Bytowne theatre , right in the center with no one else around me. It was the last evening for the film "Broadway: Through the Ages". Two hours of pure Broadway and New York.
For the first 20 minutes of the film, I cried. Not due to sadness. Due to the fact that I could relate to all the emotions of those actors on that screen. They spoke of wanting it so bad, having no money, struggling to suceed, pulling the dirtiest tricks to get in and see productions for free, they spoke of New York, and the lights, the atmosphere and most importantly Broadway, and I sat, all on my own with tears streaming down my face.
It's been a good night. A good inspiring, reflective evening.
