I went to Jesse's Mom's to visit them and have fun and it was good times. Friday we ordered out and just kinda chatted and I watched the 3rd harry potter movie and it was kinda scary really cuz I'ma chicken shit. But it was ok. Then Saturday we slept in and started talking about running errands and getting groceries and Jesse wanted to go to vincennes to get groceries for whatever reason adn then the subject of painting the living room came up cuz Me and Sandi (Jesse's Mom) had talked about it for awhile and figured that since she just got new chairs this was a rather perfect opportunity and so we were set on a Mission. which would happen AFTER lunch of course.

We went to Vincinnes and got paint chips at the Lowes to look at while we took a break for a snack at Hardees and pick out the paint and then headed off to gather the other things we needed at different places and get the stuff from lowes on teh way home. We picked a sage-y green for the walls and a rusty red color for behind the fireplace and started the primer as soon as we got back. Jesse really hates that kinda thing but he was a good sport about getting the high places for us. We got it all done that night and only touch ups were left for the next day.

I think it's really fun to watch a house transform from the simplest things. Sandi is slowly redoing parts of the house and getting everything cleaned up since she fell out of cleaning habits with her crazy schedule changes and she's got lots of remodeling planned for the house. I really want to do something extra fun for her later this year but we'll see how that works out then.

Yesterday I got all the touch ups done again with the help of Jesse and we had an awesome lunch and spent the little bit of time left trying to put the house back together before I left. She said that I am more than welcome to live with her after I graduate and I thought that was really nice -- and actually it's something that might happen if A) I get a job in the area B) I still have no room at my Dad's. anyhow all in all the weekend was great and it was nice to see the boy and his Mom.

I'm excited for Gretchen's Garage Sale and now I have a real deadline to get rid of all that stuff laying around my Dad's house and maybe I will be able to be there to help man the sale. I'm excited to have my friends over for a party and be able to visit with my friends while they help clean my apartment and get rid of all teh crap that I don't need. I can't wait for my last semester - I think it will be even better than last year. I was happy to heat that two of my friends found themselves lovely girls and one of them (RUSS!) is engaged, moving back to Scotsdale and plans to marry in about a year. So many wonderful changes going on with everyone around me! Today we will be hoping for Gretchen at her interview and I will hopefully be doing something constructive at work and packing some things up here in Salem. --currently I'm thinking about dragging somethings up to chucktown in the middle of the week and just having Jesse meet me in Charleston Friday --- is there a cookout this week? Is anyone gonna be around in Charleston? lemme know cuz that could determine my trip.

Woo HOO for getting things done! I am truly determined to keep a hold of everything and really stay organized this year to make my cake classes truly a breeze.

and now I'M OFF!
