Again, with the IDIOCY! ugh.
So the new guy comes in and is asking question about pad printing and is trying to tell me that teh pad print with heat on the straps for the chin cup and I said no, that's emboss. and he was like no it's pad print with heat. NO. Pad printing does not involve heat except in pre or post treatment of the substrate to speed up drying or improve adhesion. I am working on pad printing for the chincups that the straps attach to. ARGH!
Can I please shoot someone?
Anyhow, a chat with Louis and Lee brightened my day along with a couple phone calls I got. I'm trying to convince Louis to come to the fair with me or maybe six flags and then I got to chat wth Lee who's in Colorado (and I tell you am I ever jealous of that bastage) and he's gonna come to my party and drag Benanti on a trip with me to the west next year (we hope). THEN I got calls from 2 companies about my ink test and one about setting up a meeting with me MONDAY to give me a quote of a customized machine for the helmets.
I am WAY excited about all that.
However, my near copy cat lunch today is unexciting and I forgot to take my Kolaches with me last night and they are all stale now : (
I'm not sure if I'll be in the mood to do anything tonite or not but I'm gonna call Cindy and see what she's up to. And then call my Grandma and tell her I cashed the check.
