A Party and a Propsition

Jul 02, 2005 12:42

Guys it's a really beautiful day but I'm hot as hell moving stuff around I'm so not going ot make it back to spfld on time but whatever.

Some of you will remember well my golden birthday bash from last year.
But I’ll give you a recap anyway.

About 27 lbs of grilled meat expertly done by Grill-Masta P-Funk
(ribeyes, sausages, dogs and the like)
Alcohol for all that desired it
A drunken game of chess
Many laughs
Lots of beverages and goodies
One Hell of a Fuckin Awesome Time with some really Great People

I think that everyone in attendance would agree. So in the spirit of good food, good friends and good times I will have a belated bash this year - I can’t promise the same rack of meat b/c I’m poor now but I can promise a great time with awesome people.

I’m thinking that the day will either be the evening of the 30th or an all day affair similar to last year on the 31st of July. Why these days? Well because of internship, apartment and time constraints. The party will be on the day that the most ppl are sure to be able to attend or determined by my land lady in Salem.

In addition to the birthday-moving-out-of-my-place-it’s-summer-I-want-to-because-I-said-so PARTY - I will need help cleaning my apartment so that I can leave on the 5th and not get any fines.

Of course there will be not only the compensation of having a good time while you stay with me, your beloved friend, at my apt (with a pool, 3 xtra beds and a comfy couch) along with my eternal gratitude but also a dinner of your choice prepared by me for you and our fellow helping friends. And you all know that I am a very good cook.

Now, I’m sure your asking what can possibly be that involved in moving out? Well, my dear and wonderful comrades the fines that come with living in university housing are quite outrageous if the place is not 100% totally and completely spotless. AND since, I can not depend on my roommates to truly do their share I ask of your help.

There are 7 major tasks that will need to be undertaken for move out:
Removing everything that roomies left and random trash.
Scrubbing the Bathrooms from top to bottom - no single speck of soap scum shall be.
Scrubbing the Kitchen top to bottom.
Dusting and Vacuuming.
Shampooing the Carpets.
Finding and Repairing everything that is wrong/needs it.
Arranging all the furniture as it should be.
The cleaning will begin the day after the party. Before the cleaning is started I will pack up everything I can in my car so that there are less things to work around.

I'll give you guys more info when I have it -- for now jsut lemme if your interested in whatever.
