(no subject)
okaaay. I'm so far behind, I don't even remember everything I cared about a week ago...that's how fast life's moving right now. I'm not so sure I'm comfortable with this pace. Speeding is dangerous, what if I fall off?
anywaaays. I remember last weekend...So I totally did not have time to do homework...I leave so much til the weekends, and then I do stuff...bad bad plans. Anyways. So homecoming was on saturday. and I wore this red dress (shorter than everyone else's) from goodwill, it was kinda pretend asian style, but it was really awesome. I loved it. plus it was $8 from goodwill. And homecoming itself was fun. I went with a group so it was completely comfortable and I could dance by myself, which is more fun anyway...stories I will leave unsaid (course in leaving them unsaid I pretty much say them). I think I ruined a slow dance for some girl, kinda feel bad about that, kinda don't cuz she was snippy about it, and I had fun...
and sunday I went to Left Foot Organics to help them out. I dug potatoes and dug some trench stuff, and I met this phlebotomist (totally not spelled rite). anyway..person who works in a blood mobile...He's had the craziest life...he's such a pacifist olympia guy, but he was in the army, as a medic, and they never sent him to combat, tho almost. and he was an english major but refused to teach, and now he's a blood man who wants to be a construction worker...if I were 25 or so I might have a crush on him, he was that awesome.
got sick tuesday night. at first cold. then real cold. then cold cold cold and shivering and spasming shivers and uncontrollable teeth chattering. Then I wrapped myself up, and warmed up, but still shivers, and then later still random twitching. Plus then I was hot and cold in different parts of my body, patchy and weird. but that only took 6 hours or so to finish up. then I was just really weak, and tired, and achy, and yuck. so no school wednesday.
so now I'm behind at school, and getting even farther behind as i write, but whatever. I really don't care right now...which is bad. wups.
I'm mostly just glad to feel better.
and i did water testing today with Teale and Claire from earth service corps...that was actually really awesome. I had a lot of fun even though I've done all that stuff before and all. but it got cold and one of my pinkies turned white (weird, but I have poor circulation --- scuse me good readers, d'you have any spare arteries and veins for a poor victim like m'self?) anyways. i'm feeling pretty super right now for no reason besides that I felt pretty terrible not too long ago...
