i found these videoclips on the Živé Kvety website, which i hadn't seen before. Živé Kvety is probably what i would call my favorite band, even if they are completely not-famous, from a completely not-famous country. their guitarist emailed me last year, he found my livejournal through Google, he said something like he was happy that even if nearly all of Slovakia doesn't know who they are [although it looks like they are getting more popular, which is exciting], at least one girl far away really loves them. they are great; their first album is kitschy and sweet, with accordions, the last two are bouncier and harder; their lyrics are wonderful [i tried translating some last year and i'll try again, maybe]; they adapted a version of "dead flowers" by the Rolling Stones into Slovak.

and the videoclips -- ahh! they are absolutely adorable, amateurish, not at all good cinematography or anything like that, but completely perfect. [also, you can download some of their songs there, i think you should definitely download Načo je taká láska, it's my favorite.]
