Baseball!
In honor of LJ posting day, I'm posting to say why I'm not posting.
Today was the annual baseball trip my parents and I take in our attempt to visit all of the stadiums. This year was Cincinnati. Their old ballpark was one of the first ones we visited outside of Chicago, and we hadn't been back to visit the new park. We picked a Cubs game that was a make-up for a rain-canceled game back in April. Because it was a random Tuesday afternoon with 80% chance of thunderstorms, I have never seen such an empty ballpark. We were in the front row of the upper deck to start, but the sun was too intense (because not only did it not rain, it wasn't even cloudy), so we moved way up to the shade. We had the ENTIRE SECTION to ourselves, which meant we could whoop and clap really loudly when the Cubs got their two home runs. :) Sadly, the Reds scored 4, so the Cubs went down in defeat (as they usually do), but we still had a good time.
