Game 1
Tonight's game against Kembangan Chai Chee Red was a good team effort. Mr. Andy and the coaches were really delighted at the scoreline of the game at 87:40. Just thankful it was a good start for Team Siglap albeit the fouls which were uncalled for.
1) I tapped the ball away on an opponent's layup and it was a foul?!
2) I was fighting for the rebound against Pei Jing and the referee said I elbowed when I clearly didn't, and mind you, the referee was fucking right in front of our faces.
Pei Jing and I were left there, stunned at the referee's call. Not only that, the referee even thought we were gonna fight. Okay sorry for ranting, I just hate getting into foul trouble when it's clearly not my problem.
Oh and I had a chance at a fastbreak opportunity but I missed it. What's new? I'm a centre for a reason hahaha. Coach even kiddingly said I should run 2 more rounds of stairs so I'll make the fastbreak count if there's another chance. Whut. Oh and have I mentioned I really love it when I pass the ball out to the forwards and they make the 3-point shot?!?! It kinda motivates me in a way :) Also, Shermaine told me it was great to have me on court, and there are uncles like Coach Guoming's brother giving their utmost support all along, and even saying I'm his favourite girl on court, I couldn't ask for more :) Thank you everyone for your support, it really makes me feel appreciated :')
