I've been doing other things for a while, and so haven't been updating my LJ. A quick rundown:
*I turned 18 and subsequently had a party. Twas awesome. Presents were had by me. I got my Proof of Age about three days after my birthday. Hee.
*Sat my German HSC speaking exam, which in all honesty, wasn't as bad as I had been expecting. In fact, the questions that the examiner asked me were ones which I had been preparing for the previous night, and on my way from the station, with
whirlygig.
*Finished and received back trial results with mixed success. Remains to be seen how it'll pan out.
Nornagon came over to my place for dinner on Wednesday. En route, the bus driver started talking in this very bizarre, maternal fashion:
"...I'm not starting the bus until I know everyone's safe. There are some older people up here, I want you kids sitting down to give them seats. Thank you, kids. We all have to help each other on this journey."
There was much snickering around the bus at this, and we set off. Throughout the trip she continued to be extra-ordinarily polite and courteous, empathising with us on what was a rather crowded and winding bus trip. I was somewhat bemused, as this is the general opposite of what I've experienced from bus drivers. Fun was had by all.
Much love.
