Whoops

Didn't really mean to go that long without an update but I forgot that the weeks start flying now that I'm working again. Work is good.. that's all I really have to say about it. I like it better than Time Warner by leaps and bounds.. and for retail.. that's not bad. Managing isn't as bad as I thought it'd be either.

As for other stuff. Josh and I combined a ton of deals to pay less than half of the new price for Rock Band on 360. The game is usually 180 bucks but we ended up paying around 60 after trading in Halo 3 and his old Guitar Hero II guitar. There was a trade-in deal on those and throw in his discount and it was a done deal. I never planned on buying it but for 30 bucks (we split it)... I'll take it just to play the guitar songs. The drums are interesting, but not my favorite thing. I still like the guitar the best. I won't touch the microphone with a 1100 foot pole. Rock Band has some good songs on there... not quite Guitar Hero II good, but decent. I think my favorite one to play is "Timmy & Lords of the Underworld" from South Park... now that is a song I'd consider doing the vocals for *laugh* You could just sit there and shout "Timmah!!!" and make stupid noises. Oh, and I have to give them credit for 'Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper'... you can smack the microphone to give it MORE COWBELL! Other songs I like are 'Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock', 'Weezer - Say it Ain't So', and 'Nirvana - In Bloom'.

As for other gaming stuff. I ended up quitting EQ2... again. Now that I'm working and the schedule isn't always the same. It's not really worth it. I've pretty much stuck to the console for the past few weeks when I had time. I bought Call of Duty 4 which is awesome and has to be one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played in terms of an FPS. It kills Halo in my opinion. I ended up beating Bioshock and my vote for Game of the Year is still there. Also, Josh bought Mass Effect and I've been trying that out from time to time. Game seems like it will be a solid RPG once I get into it more... and it's made by Bioware, who made Star Wars:KOTOR... so I expected good things. I also picked up Futurama Seasons 2 and 3... because... I love Futurama and I want to get the new DVD that just came out.

Wow, all I've talked about is games. But when I'm happy, I play my games and have fun. The summer is over.. the snow is here (a lot of it today I might add) and I'm in a good mood!
