A month later....

Well, it's not quite a month since I started at Time Warner and I've learned some things. Firstly, I've learned the meaning of TGIF. I don't know how many times I said that today... I was sooooo ready for the weekend. Altho it will be TGITh after next week as my weekend will be Friday and Saturday. I learned that Peter Gibbons (Office Space) had it right in hating things about his job. Time Warner's equivalent of a TPS report is some tracking thing that you fill out at the end of every call which serves no real purpose expect for emergencies. I have about 4 memos and roughly 7 emails telling me fill out my "TPS" reports. There are banners all over the office with a variety of sayings. And just to rub it in... someone in the office has a red Swingline stapler.

On the good side tho, I got my first full paycheck yesterday and I deposited it today... which made me happy and was a good transition to the weekend. I've bought a few XB360 games over the past few weeks even tho I don't have time to play them much. I bought Call of Duty 2 GOTY, Quake 4, Rumble Roses XX, and rebought Dead Rising as I ditched my old copy when it looked like absolute shit on my old TV. It was so bad, I couldn't even read the words. Here it is on mah new baby *laugh* And yeah the picture is blurry, but I'm not that good at taking picture with one hand on the camera and one on the controller.

Kameo looks gorgeous.

Let's see what else. Me and Cory went and saw the Simpsons movie last night. I was bored and didn't feel like playing any games but I'm actually glad I saw it. I really enjoyed it. I then went to Gamestop and bought Splinter Cell:Double Agent for 360. I always loved Splinter Cell but I knew I wouldn't be able to play it on my old screen.. especially with the attention to detail in some of the Splinter Cell games on XBOX.

I think my job and the stress has made me revert back to my childhood. I've been watching cartoons lately when nothing else is on and I'm enjoying some of the characters. For instance... there is a show on Cartoon Network called "My Gym Partner's a Monkey" which is obviously a kid's show but I was lying in bed watching it once and I thought that Principal Poncherello W. Pixiefrog was a badass. Yeah, I like odd characters from odd shows. But he's only like 4 inches tall, come on. I'm weird like that.

Don't Fuck With Principal Pixiefrog.

Wow, that sentence about Pixiefrog... I'm never gonna get laid ever again. *laugh*
