the beginning!

For everything there is a reason. Indeed.

I'd been cursing myself for my bad luck because I could only watch Taiban in Kyushu, not mainland Japan, which meant that I had to watch the movie today on October 6 much later than the original premiere date, September 22.

BUT guess what!!
...which can be roughly translated to:
Furthermore, the second movie "Tiger & Bunny - The Rising" is a new movie containing story set after the TV series end and is scheduled to be released on Autumn 2013. Also, this time, the second movie's super teaser poster's visual has been made available for viewing at theaters where the World Premiere and live viewing are held! From today (Sat, October 6), the same poster can also be seen at theaters around the country.
I take it, both the poster and teaser of The Rising can only be seen nation-wide from today, not any other day, but TODAY! *victorycry

Yes, just got back from watching Tiger & Bunny THE BEGINNING!
Kinda disappointed because...the movie is pretty much Episode 1 PLUS a filler story. Well, I should've guessed though, since it was very easy to! I'd been watching the trailer for countless times, always wondering why the content was 90% Episode 1. Now I get it.

My friend said the movie lacks climax, but I think the movie is well-made to a certain extent, it's not bad, but definitely nothing that great either. Just right. I wasn't expecting anything so that's probably why I can say that I like The Beginning. There would be no other title more suitable for the movie than "The Beginning", too. The writer, director, you know those guys, I think they did a good job in sticking with the title. The moment Bunny finally answers Tiger's phone call, the "Moshi-moshi" he says before the screen turns pitch black i.e. the movie ends, is a perfect scene to convey this "The Beginning" message to the audience. Previously in the movie it's shown how Bunny refuses to pick up a call from Tiger but then he's willing to; after the filler story case is solved, which marks the beginning of their story. It's a very simple easy to understand storyline, light indeed, but enjoyable.

I was able to get rid of my disappointment because the movie, obviously, features new scenes refreshing enough to amuse me. I'm still not tired of looking at how the Heroes interact with each other although I have to honestly say that I noticed too much Blue Rose and her fanservice, not appealing at all; I'm a girl. Another thing that made it possible for me to walk out of the theater feeling happy was The Rising trailer. "The Rising" is the title of the second Taibani movie which is out due Autumn 2013. If one uses The Beginning movie release date as a yardstick then the second movie will be released at around the same time a year from now. The trailer shows us a glimpse of devastated Sternbild and wounded Heroes. Definitely the story takes place after the last episode, seeing as how the city remains perfectly in shape until Bunny reunites with Tiger. SO looking forward to the second movie, which might be my last Taibani movie, and movie in general, in Japan.

Since The Beginning has been premiering for 2 weeks now, we got to see two heroes who made it to the TOP 5 of Weekly Hero Countdown: Fire Emblem in the 5th and Origami Cyclone in the 4th place. I'm sure the 1st one will be Tiger and 2nd Bunny, while the 3rd one might be Sky High or Blue Rose. I think they update the ranking weekly on the internet; not bothered to check. haha

A corner for Taibani built behind the ticket-checking counter.

This picture speaks for itself.

1,100 yen popcorn (HUGE) and drink (HUGE) set.

Went to the theater wearing Taibani t-shirt I bought from Premium Bandai. The iphone case there, I purchased it from the same website.

Tied the keychains I got as bonuses for buying The Beginning tickets from animate and a metal plate I got for buying Taibani popcorn set, to the thread under my bedroom's lamp.

I didn't know Hunter x Hunter the movie will be out next January. Saw the trailer today, too. Not a fan of the new Hunter x Hunter but...it's still HxH, so I'm watching.

Heard from my friend about a new non-manga-based anime, "K". Now off I go, to check it out!

japan, tiger and bunny
