Your jacket and hat, while possibly stylish and attention-getting in some circumstances, reflect a modest, some might say minimal amount of light. The dark colors probably contribute to this. As such, I think they accompany your decision to bike down the wrong side of Hampshire Street in the rain at night without lights or a helmet in a particularly unfortunate way. My loud "wrong side of the fucking road" was intended to communicate some of this, and a feel that calling me an idiot was really unwarranted.
