Been working a lot, got 8 hours of overtime this week expecting a fatty check this next pay period!

I signed up with www.justthrive.com to manage my spending and personal financials its pretty neat - shows where all my money is going, one habit I need to change is using my plastic for my purchases so it can be tracked easier rather than taking cash out to pay for things. (Otherwise you have to manually enter all that data on Thrive)

I decided against www.mint.com because of some bad reviews about customer service and Thrive had such positive reviews on Customer Service I said what the hell, why not?

Been spending a lot on medical expenses apparently - but then I realized it was because I did a cashback purchase at RiteAid twice lol

Just watched a video about how we should support our local credit unions. Interesting stuff - never really think about where our money goes once it goes into a big bank like Chase or BoA or WellsFargo. Video showed clips of the bailout of 2008-2009 and how CEO's were getting paid millions in bonuses from tax payer dollars and how they use to be considered "Too Big to Fail". Credit Unions make decisions to benefit the consumer was the point, the article that I read also said that some Credit Unions will even pay the surcharge to use other atms - now thats awesome imagine using any atm and never paying anything!

With that said - I don't think I will immediately switch banks... only because I JUST switched to Chase and they paid me 125$ to setup direct deposit!

I will think about it for the future...

For now, I need to manage my money better and try to save up some more money, not hop banks!

Goodnight I need sleep.
