Left school with out graduating. Got a 4.0, got henna done, went to Louisville, went to a con (Lunacon), got a job that paid more than 6.50 an hour and had a lot of really good resume boosting type things, got paid for 2 hours of playing volleyball every week, got a place with sig other, Snapped, took a DRAWING class (and got a B+ too!).

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope, I don't tend to.

No, but I did find out that most of the girls who graduated were either pregnant or had kids already.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not really.

5. What countries did you visit?
MelissaLand.

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?

Leaving RIT and regaining some of my health and sanity.

9. What was your biggest failure?
The end of winter quarter GPA=slightly above 1 (or was that my greatest success?)

I hurt and re-hurt my arm quite a bit playing volleyball in return I had a lot of fun and got a lot better at it.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Oooo....on my mind most recently is my leather bag I just bought. A 50 dollar bag for 10 bucks. How can you beat that? Other high scorers: Burt's Bee's sampler, cherry body paint, and my successful Christmas present for my mom.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Hmm...lotsa people. A big one that I can think of was Lon, my boss from this summer.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, Rent+bills

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Unfortunately not much this year or the one before. I think what I am most excited about right now is being able to spend Christmas money on myself for mostly clothes but also a few things that I would just like to have. It's been a long time since I could really justify spending that much money for non-living expenses.

16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
None. Whatsoever. Lots remind me of last year though.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. Happier or sadder?
I am happier and healthier mentally

I steal this response from Jon.
III. Richer or poorer? Richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Hanging out and seeing the people that I was soon not going to see very often. Visiting.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Nothing that I can think of.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with Burton's extended family party (after I helped set up), Visited my father, wanted to spend more time there, visited my mother, gave her new puppy a squeaky pig(he loves it!), and succeeded in giving my mother things that she liked.

21. Did you fall in love in 2003?
The line "and I'm falling even more in love with you" comes to mind.

21.5 How will you spend your Yule?
I registered for classes, did a few things around the house, waited for Burton to come home, went out Christmas/Solstice shopping, then, exausted, I played with Misfit and exchanged presents with Burton, and crashed to bed.

22. How many one-night stands?
Not a one thank you very much.

The Simpsons, as always. TV other than that tends to be stuff that sucks up your time and turns off your brain. Especially "News" channels.

Many, many things.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Pirates of the Caribbean. There were so many good looking people in that movie that I was almost drooling. For those of you who don't know, that is extremely, extremely rare with me. (but that's not why I like it.)

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
21. Failed to get alcohol, Went to class, work, went to Dinosaur BarBQ with Dan, Saw the Pittsford Wegman's for the first time, along with 700 dollars a pound truffles, Dan drove me around and we saw the most gorgeous cloud formations I can remember, Had a very relaxing, fun time.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
Is it clean? Has it only been worn once before? OK.

Getting really pissed and saying "Fuck you" to RIT, then having a much less stressful quarter, having a great boss for the summer, liking my school year job, not having very many commitments after September.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't really fancy anyone, but I am entranced by the beauty/fame/fortune of the Hilton Sisters. I do not know why this is. I am slightly embarrassed to admit that.

GOD DAMNED STUPID PEOPLE!

I think it was along the lines of tearing everything down so you can build a new.
In unusual/scary circumstances, I am often the most calm and clear thinking.

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

Not quite sure exactly how it works, but it does.

you seem so out of context in this gaudy apartment complex
a stranger with your door key explaining that I am just visiting
and I am finally seeing why I was the one worth leaving

d.c. sleeps alone tonight
