great day!
OMG! RYAN GOT THE JOB IN GREENSBORO! Dr. G had told him that he'd call us the earliest Saturday and the latest this week with the news, but the weekend came and went with no call. Every call that came through we JUMPED at, but it was always his mom trying to offer some advice. Today while we were in neurology review, Ryan's phone went off and it was a 336 number. He stepped out of lecture and came back quite hurriedly. I didn't think it looked good. Then he typed on Notepad next to me "they're going to send me the package tomorrow!" HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!
OMG, for the both of us to have jobs IN FREAKING GREENSBORO, this is amazing. AND it's what he wants... he was so excited. His facebook status is now "Ryan just got the job of his dreams!!!!" Ryan will be working at Urgent Medical & Family Care =) His commute is only going to be 12 minutes! The original job he had taken in Winston-Salem (with all the red flags) was 35 minutes away.
Today is a good day. We can breathe easy!
