Happy Spanksgiving!

It's Thanksgiving here in Canada. The leaves are turning and the weather is getting a bit chilly, it really does feel like autumn finally.

Went to mums yesterday for the family Thanksgiving dinner. Got there early, to help with setting up the tables, to putting all the decorations out and helping put the places together. Then, mum peeled veggies while I laced leaves throughout all the banisters and swept the floor while she put the turkey in. People started showing up around 2 hours before the dinner, 14 in all.

First were Donna and Bernie, I can't quite remember how they're related. They're very nice, and have even offered to cook me dinner once in a while, which was very generous of them. Next came Pam and Larry, some of the best people I know. Always nice, helpful, and while mum and Tom were gone all winter, Pam came to visit every week and we had mini potlucks every 2 weeks. After that, came Shawn and a very pregnant Jen, with Tara and Steve. Tara and Steve's two children came along soon, the youngest Sydney was the bell of the ball. Only 18 months old. I couldn't believe how big Jen was, she's carrying twins and her body is pushed to the hilt. She's being induced later this month, in as little as a week. Her and Shawn are beyond excited.

The dinner was a hit, with not much left over. After cleaning up and putting everything away, we all sat and chatted whilst the children wandered off to the shore with Pam. After not too long, yours speaking got massive heartburn off of the gravy (weird, no?) and headed home so that I could lay on the couch and meld with my Tums.

Today I had leftovers, which heated up quite nicely. Had an extra day off to just lay around, so it's back to the grind tomorrow. Only 3 days of school this week, but they're all 10 hour days. How did I end up being so lucky lol.

Not too much else to report, just taking things day by day. Still haven't called a doctor about seeing what I should do to get some help, but I haven't quite phased out of the "in denial" stage. I'm sure I'll snap out of it soon, it's really annoying shaking all the time.

I'm out folks, it's late and I'm quite tired. Hope you all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. ^^/
