Is there such thing as an evil math god? Rhetorical question?
Midterm next week, and I haven't even been in the course two weeks. And will have more than half the course on it. What kind of sick persons idea of fun was to design this course? Must be the professor. His teaching style is fine, up until when someone asks a question. Then, he proceeds to get right in your face, say "Is that even a question? You should know this. Math isn't memorization, you just know this and do." Every. Single. Time. Sooo... If math isn't memorization, then how do we learn it in the first place? I think I've asked one question so far in class, just because a girl I sit with dared me to. So I did, and actually got praised for it. Shortly after, she goes, "Man, I wish I had asked it now." *snerk*
And I've finally had my first bout of being called a "cougar" because a 19 year old boy thought 23 was old. He thought I was his age, and attempted to hit on me. I turned him down, and he proceeds to say, "Wow, that's the first time I've been turned down by a cougar." This was shortly followed with a swift hit of my handy dandy hardcover textbook. Hey, just because you're tall and built like a truck doesn't mean girls will want to go out with you. Sure, his face isn't bad, but his conversation skills need work. And I find that as you get older with someone, personality is all you've got left.
Now, it's Friday. Weekend. What will I do? Probably go hang out with some friends, clean, do laundry. I noticed I didn't put study in there. Perhaps I could fit that into my not-so-busy schedule. *leans over and expells some gas* Perhaps.
I find myself now still coming in front of the computer every day, but not for nearly as long. Some video games get boring, you run out of things you want to do. I read more now I've noticed, and have once again become friends with my couch and oh so comfy bed.
I should put a shirt on and go finish my dishes. The joys of living alone - I get dressed when I want, and do my dishes roughly once a week. But, now that I get more visitors, I should probably up the usual routine. XD
