I have grown old.
We just went out to enjoy a homecooked (they cooked, we didn't have to) dinner and some boardgames with some good friends, and actually had a perfectly brilliant time.
Sure, we also went to the Slimelight, London, last weekend, and were all old-school goth and met a lot of fascinating people. Bought a new uncommonly short dress with many safety pins and zippers too. Also drank full 5 pints of coffee in an effort to stay awake half as long as I effortlessly could as a kid.
Still, if this fearful growing old involves tasty dinner, clever friends, and going to bed before I have to start dosing myself with really unhealthy quantities of caffeine.. it honestly isn't bad.
