zachary quinto on SNL
first post! ok, so my favorite zachary quinto moment has to be his appearance on saturday night live. he is such a natural comedian, and i just love his facial expressions. plus, its so obvious that he is having the time of his life.

chris: zach and i really wanted to come out
tonight and address the long time star trek fans
zach: we understand that you guys are concerned
about the way we are handling your beloved
franchise
zach: but dont worry,
we've gone to great lengths to ensure that
this film fits flawlessly in with the established
canon
chris: absolutely zach,
you know, all the star dates we used correspond
perfectly with the ones used in the original series and
in the next generation
zach: and our movie takes the time to
explore the origins of the kulinar ceremony
and its fascinating connection to the
ponfar marriage ritual
chris: and uhm, ah, i- i swear that the transporters
on the enterprise (clears throat) utilize, uhm, ah
the uhm, the high ... the heigh ....
oh god, i have no idea what im talking about
zach: arg!
zach: neither do i, but you guys....
please, you have got to stop harassing us
chris: please!
seth: you are getting harassed?
zach: yeah, you have no idea seth
how insane some of these fans can be
chris: i mean,
im getting angry calls in the middle of the night.
at least i think they're angry. i cant really uderstand
them, they're speaking in klingon
or hebrew
zach: and my mailbox keeps
getting vandalized. every morning its full of
decapitated action figures and empty inhaler canisters
chris: then they tie notes to rocks
and they throw them at my windows
ITS SCRATCHING THE GLASS!
seth: the rocks dont break the windows?
chris: no, they are clearly
not throwing them hard enough
seth: i guess im a little surprised
that you could be intimidated by trekkies
zach: well, they can be a llittle intimidating.
i mean, look
chris: we just want them to come out and
see the movie, seth
leonard: they will come, they will come
zach: but leonard, what if they reject
chris and i as the new kirk and spock?
leonard: gentleman i have spend
many years of my life among trekkies .... trekkers.
and they have been some of the best years of my life.
and while it make take time, i believe that soon they
will find you chris to be equal to the original captain kirk.
and you zachary, to be slightly less than equal to the original spock
leonard: - but ultimately okay
zach: you think they're going to like the film leaonard?
leonard: to not like it would be...
seth: i know what you are going to say!
to not like it would be highly illogical
leonard: no, i was going to say, to not
like it would make them dickheads
