 I try very hard to be sympathetic and reasonable with people who have behavioral disorders or mental illnesses.  I know the vast majority of them are fundamentally good people who pose no danger to others or even themselves, and that mental illness is not something we need to be joking about or sweeping under the rug.

And yet, I feel very strongly that there are certain things you do not freaking announce in a dormitory courtyard to a bunch of people, many of whom are semi-strangers.  One of these things is "I ran out of my antipsychotic medicine.  I won't be able to get a refill for two weeks."
