Fuckin' Hell
Okay may I just say how pissed I am at the moment... im pissed at the moment!
Do you guys remember when I had a zpice.com domain? yes? no? if you dont remember let me tell you! I once had a Geri Halliwell fansite and I decided to buy webspace for it which was a huge mistake not only cause it was a waste of money and time since Geri has supposedly decided to get pregnant and hide away like a washed up Mel B but it had no purpose since all the people that visited it were ungrateful.
Moving along, at most places when you buy actual webspace they tend to give you the option to either pay monthly or pay yearly. I decided to pay yearly so I had them wire money out of my bank account for the one year which was about 60 some bucks, not bad for what it was. When you read the site's main page it makes you think that you can pay for that one year and then afterwards if you decide you dont want it anymore you just dont renew it and they cut you off, however in the wonderful fine print that companies tend to do they state that you are responsible for cancelling it yourself BEFORE they bill you for the new year. Now a lot can happen in a year am I right? by the end of that year I had closed my bank account cause I switched banks and changed my email, so for one thing they had nowhere to transfer money out of because that account was now closed and they couldnt email me cause I had a new email.
Yesterday, I got a letter in the mail from one of the U.S. Collection offices, stating that globat.com (which was the name of the company) had filed for them to collect money from me for breach of contract which had now added to a sum of $269.34 (now hell if I know how the fuck they come up with that change, they could have made it an even number) so I call the collection office and ask why the fuck im being billed when I didnt renew my yearly service. The guy explains that in that little window (yes the 6 page 'I Agree' window) they stated that once paid they would automatically take money from my account until I cancelled it, which they said NOTHING about. Not this might be common sense for some of you who have bought space before but I had no fucking clue, I assumed you pay once and get the service then either renew or be done with, but nooo I guess that's not how it works.
Now what pisses me off even more is that this letter was printed on the 19 of October and I just received it YESTERDAY and the date I have till to pay the amount is on the 31st of October, which is fine it's not like I dont have the money but I mean for fucks sake! I get it on the 25 and expected to pay it by the 31st that's complete bullshit! so I can continue to rant on but im getting tired of typing so im going to leave it alone, pay the shit and never buy space again since it's fucking pointless anyways.
