So I am currently on a train and I forgot my book, so no excuses. I don't remember the last time I posted, but Dave and I took the week before July 4th off, so a total of 10 days off. IN A ROW. I don't think I have ever done that before. It was mostly a staycation, which was honestly pretty fabulous. We went to Spa World (just go), had some vet appts, I took my car to Poquoson (on the train to go get it now), and just relaxed. There was other stuff we did, but relaxing was the theme. We also went to Erie for a few days (to visit Dave's family), but came home on Sunday, July 3rd. This is my new favorite plan. We usually get home super late the night before we have to be at work, but this time was awesome. The 4th was all about relaxing.

Having one car has been a little bit of a challenge, but nothing too bad. The biggest issue was that in our last day in Erie and on the way home from Erie, Dave's brakes started grinding in a really disconcerting and not unlike nails-on-a-chalkboard kind of way. Normally, not an issue, but with that car being our only car, cause for concern. Finally gave my blessing to Dave buying a new car, so he will be at a Hyundai dealership later getting his new Elantra. His beautiful 98 Camry is going to my sister, who gets her license in October. Because of this arrangement, my dad and Dave replaced his brakes on Wed night, at a cost of leas than $100 and my mom even made dinner!

Anyhow: take homes from this entry: Go to Spa World and don't forget to relax. And for Wit: watch Dead Like Me.
