Am sooooo tired. No good reason I'm sure. Loads of people visiting today :) which will be lovely cinnyrat is coming from her neck of the woods, and of course nicolacariad will be here as always! :D Some non LJ users, Carrie, Sian and maybe others will be here too. Sounds like it'll be a fun evening.

Got the wonderful landlord coming round later for his rent. Couldn't have picked a better day really ^_- bleh. Still, gets rid of him for another month.

No real news. Had to re-do the superpet, because it IS Satan... and I am sick of the hell we go through every day to try and keep the ledges free of turd and waz. Sooo... got rid of most of the shitty shelves and put in Ferplast ones instead. Looks a bit different lol! So far seems to work better.

I seem to have a large proportion of rickety old ladies at the moment. There's my very old Peaches, who's over 2 and has a head tilt, and is a bit frail, but easily one of the fittest in her cage group! Also Moon who's over 2 as well, and has a big lump :( But it's not hindering her at the moment, and she seems really happy, and as long as we keep her condition good, she seems to cope really well. Joy is looking rough these days. She never recovered from losing Betty :*( poor lass is rather miserable a lot of the time. I thought she had a pituitary tumour, but she seems to be fighting it well, so maybe not, it could just be depression. Pam isn't looking to fresh these days either, she has a little lump and a slight resp problem atm. Pauline is always looking like shite - but that's to be expected really being a hairless rescue. She's plastered in scratches poor girl :(

Then the boys - well, Tom, Be-bop and NotA. Tom is still doing well - considering he's 2 in a couple of days and has been living with two of the worlds least healthy rats. NotA and Be-bop amaze me. I cannot believe they're still alive. Of course, their brother Valdez died at 11 months old :*( but they've kept on going. They're coming up 18 months now, and although they're both typically 'carreg line' skinny and weasel looking, they are doing rather well. They both have pretty crap respiratory symptoms, they always have - they were ill when we brought them home :( but then, their mother was bred from while ill, and was ill throughout pregnancy and care.

anyway - ramble over... I think I should get on with things that I need to get on with! lol

xx
