I made it through...
Well I had a very rough week last week but I am happy to say I made it through...
First there was the threat of Ivan hitting Barbados. Having experienced Gilbert in JA I was not at all enthused about going through anything like that again.
On top of that I developed a really bad cold and throat infection early in the week so had to be battling slight chills, coughs, a stuffy nose and being very hoarse.
Then!! there was the threat of Ivan hitting JA. Needless to say I was really worried about my family and had to really work on staying positive, (something I am not particularly good at a lot of the time). I have to say thanks to all my friends for all the encouraging words and support. Although it may not have seemed like it. It really did help. A lot.
FYI - I have talked to my family in JA and apart from a lot of tree damage all is well. {grin}
