Headin' down south

Well, I know I haven't really posted much of my trip as I planned to. What can I say, I'm a bit of a slacker and secondly, I'm on vacation. You can't possibly expect me to keep plans while my mind is A.W.O.L. can you? It's been a pretty great trip so far. Leaving for Houston shortly, as soon as I can manage a nap for the 2088 miles lying ahead of me. I have to admit, I didn't get nearly as much done up here as I had hoped to. In fact, I think I only picked up my camera about three or four times. But I really don't regret a bit of it. I'm just seeing it as an excuse to come back up here some time in the near future. Maine rocks and I'm not really looking forward to Houston all that much. Today, we hit a high temp of roughly 85F. This state kicks ass in the summer. I actually had to buy a jacket when I got up here because it hit the low 50's at night. Well, enough about the weather. Here's a picture my sis took of me on the summit of Mt. Cadillac in Acadia National Park a couple of days before I hit the big two-six. You can't see the Atlantic from this angle, but I'll post those when I'm out of dial-up restrictions and back to my good ol' 8Mbps cable connection. See you guys back home!
