on a town trip
Hey, just a quick hello to everyone. We just finished the Rains Retreat 2006 (theme: eating little, sleeping little, and speaking little)! There's been a lot of good food at the temple to celebrate (including, among other things, golden swastika cookies). Things are going to be a bit more quiet in the coming months, I think, as most of the monks who were ordained temporarily for the rainy season have left. It's looking like my ordination as a full-fledged novice is most likely going to be in January (which means giving up LJ, by way of giving up money, and hence Internet cafes).
