I used to love the internet.  But I feel as if I have been violated.  I missed Barack Obama's State of the Union Address last night.  In fact, I didn't even know it was happening.  I felt retarded once I found out about it, because I'm usually on top of these things.  So I go on MSNBC's site earlier today, and I watch the entire thing.  It was awesome, and I felt unbelievably privileged to live in a day and age where technology can allow me to do this.  But then... then terror struck.  I went on Youtube, and I found the Republican response to the the President's State of the Union Address.  It raped me.  I was brutally manhandled, and my salad was tossed considerably.

If you feel like sitting through twelve minutes of making uncomfortably disgusted faces, dropping your jaw, waving your arms around wildly, and resisting the urge to smash your computer with your face, then this Republican response is your cup of tea.  I'm sure Governor Jindal didn't write the speech, and by saying this I mean no disrespect to him on a personal level, but I had a strange and violent urge to headbutt his face for the entire time in which sound left his throat.  The response's only logical process was taking the things that Democrats have been saying for weeks, rewording them, and magically pretending that Republicans made them up.  I am not exaggerating when I say this - this was the most patronizing and intellectually insulting speech I have ever watched in my entire life.  Grasp this here thought for a second - there might actually be human beings, possessing the exact same capacity for reasoning as you and I, who do not in fact think this embarrassing abomination was absolute horse shit.  It frightens me to the core that members of my own species are capable of being so inconceivably dumb.  Their very lack of mental capacity lessens me as a person.  I award them no points, and may god have mercy on their souls.
