I smell death in the aire...

In the recent past each Colorado member ov the 5thOvZ has lost a friend. I am on MySpace and had met an inactive agent ov TOPY. He had been inactive for the past 10 years or so and was in the process ov re-activating (the Station Coordinator is probably getting his Sigil ov 3 Liquids in the mail as I post this). Here is the info on this wonderful person's death and a personal reply (crossposted):

sad news:

COYOTE 242 / Ralph Williams, musician, writer, philosopher, student of the obscure, and undying supporter of the scene passed away just days ago. . Please take a moment to reflect on his accomplishments and contribution to our community as well as grieve for the loss his family and children are feeling. Take a moment to read through the information below and please pass this on to as many of his friends as you can:

Crash kills Yulee man
Authorities are trying to determine what caused a Yulee man's vehicle to drift off the road and strike a clump of trees, killing him. Ralph E. Williams III, 34, was driving on New Kings Road north of Pecan Park Road about 3:45 a.m. Thursday when his vehicle drove onto the shoulder and crossed the road before it struck the trees, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. from Ralph:
"I've been working on it steady now for a month. Technically everything else on there is just something to fill the page, but the first track "control" is more or less the first real T23 song in years. I still have to add vocals and some filler stuff like snare rolls at the breaks ect. but its more or less done. I'm only leaving it up for a few hours today for a couple people I know to grab then taking it back down again. My band page has really taken off! its only been up for 3 days and I am already at 70 friends, I'm averaging about 20 hits a day on my music, plus I've started getting contacted by DJ's and other lesser known electro bands and a couple more well known bands! I've been talking the past couple days with Velvet Acid Chirst on here and (briefly) with Die Warzu! It seems there is a new movement going musically, and a lot of people are on it here in the state for a turn back to more simplistic electro/industrial (think depeche mode/new order/peter schilling) which is great! Thats always been my fav. but go figure, I grew up in the 80's!"

Thankfully he did not have the chance to take down that track and it is still up there for us all to hear.

Zoser's Reply:

"Yeah, this really sux...I met him on myspace and we were having soum really good email exchanges. He was really excited about reactivating and the results ov doing a 3L and reactivating Transmission 23...results being tons ov great feedback which included interest ov getting a record deal/touring. He was pestering me with a constant bombardment ov emails (including 1 IM conversation) with his genuine excitement. There was an instant and deep friendship brewing between us as we had exchanged email and snailmail addresses for near future use. He was even working on/planning to write up a piece for the Bod Mod Grimoire. In addition I was working on getting him and Coyote174 connected so that they might be able to get soum local TOPY action going in Florida. Well, while our engagement was short, it was very SWEET!!!

G.I.P. (Groove In Peace) Raleph/c242"
