Life Goal: write a paper on the Oeddy and Ti show. Status: FULFILLED
Re-read the paper Mr. Goldberg handed back. It's... not as bad as I feared. It does do what I intended it to do, mostly, and even tells the reader what the things I pieced out actually mean for the play. There's a paragraph that should have been gutted, and I probably should have at least mentioned Teiresias's follow-up lines, but I got distracted by his first three lines and subsequently forgot. Eeesh.
I don't know what I'm going to talk about in the paper conference I requested to have. :/ I guess I can defend and explain what he asked me to, and we can talk about the play, and maybe somewhere in there I'll figure out if it's appropriate to apologize for the organic* structure of the arguments I used in the paper. And then I'll ask how I've been doing in class so far this semester, probably. Yes.
It's been a pretty chill day (also cold). I listened to Kristin's music as I did my math. I picked up Purgatorio and Paradiso in the bookstore after lunch with Scott. I talked a fair amount in Language and got to demonstrate something helpful (hopefully) on the board in Math. I arranged to have health insurance for the duration of this semester. I took a shower and drank some mint tea.
Aaaand now I should read my music stuff and refresh my memory on the second half of Inferno.
