green and blue

I did nothing today. Kind of. I sorted my (mostly green and blue) Brave New World research notecards into piles. I'm not sure if my thesis is going to work after all- it might be too broad. But I didn't feel like dwelling on it, so then I read a lot of science fiction in my new sci fi anthology (which happens to be light blue) until I got bored and started making green and blue jewelry to pass the time. I made a bracelet and a necklace, which happen to go really well with a green and blue dress I have. I'm thinking of wearing it to the postponed Snowball instead of the dress Sonya lent me- although technically the blue and green aren't really my best colors. Still, I really don't have any other clothing that goes with the jewelry. It's kind of stupid, I always buy blue and green beads in bead stores (Galway, Ireland: blue and green beads. Dick Blick: blue, green, purple beads. Florida: blue, green, and a few other colors of beads.) but I never have clothes that I can wear them with. Until now.

So yeah. I believe inkeyes wanted to see what I did with the beads I bought a while back in Florida, so here's the bracelet.


Also, the necklace, which isn't nearly as cool because it only has one bead from the Florida shop (the rest are from Dick Blick.)
