Christmas time!

I've had a great Christmas- full of friends and family and laughs. Although it wasn't a huge Christmas, that's not what's important- we all had a blast together.

I, as usual, ended up with lots of clothing I didn't ask for- but mom, being the great judge she is, didn't get anything I'd want to return. I got a lot of things out of a great catalog called 'What on Earth'- I got a hoodie, three T's, a book on raising and keeping dragons and a figurine set.

Of course, the hoodie had 'DEUTSCHLAND' and the German coat of arms on it, because I am that much of a German nerd. The graphic T's are awesome-
"I've entered THE TWILIGHT ZONE", "No one ever suspects the short ones" (5'2'' humor), and "What I really need are minions."
The figurines are a set of ten little dragons statues is beyond adorable (I haven't a clue what they're made of- they range from 3/4'' high to almost 2'' high and are made of a metal that can be bent by hand); the one chewing on his claw looks very contemplative. So cute ^^
There were also a new set of pajamas and the most adorable little dragon plush EVER.

The five of us (mum, dad, my sister, her boyfriend and I) all came around the tree and took turns opening presents. There were wrapping paper fights and the dogs ended up wearing two or three ribbons a piece before the day was through. As always, there was a chocolate pudding cake to be had- and lots of laughs over various resulting reindeer noses and mustaches.

It was a fun Christmas, with lots of memories. It makes me fell really grateful to have all these gifts when many children don't- and that I've been fortunate enough to never have to live on the street. We need to open our hearts to others- and help them have a holiday celebration of their own.

Here's hoping you, too, had a Merry Fishmas!
