Ok, actually with that stuff. Probably not powersupply...if it was the PS the fans in the PS would not be running and youd get no power.
It could be flaky power supply, but if this kind of behavior has gone on awhile the MB or Proc or Memory could be shot now. Eitherway, those are the next things to test.
My first inclination would possibly be heat. This is why you would need to let it sit for awhile before rebooting. Check to be sure the processor fan/heatsink is still attached securely...no need to undo anything, but if its rolling around inthere it could be the problem. Leave the case off and boot. Be sure all the fans are working. On the proc, blowing across the proc etc etc.
Next, see if you can Boot to the BIOS and see if during that time, while in BIOS, see if it shuts down. If not then it might be the HardDrive/corrupt windows install. If it does shutdown while in BIOS so, try removing one of the memory sticks, and swapping around...if there is only one...well that would present more of a challenge. But a known good memory stick would be needed to be sure neither the memory stick or the slot it was in is bad.
If ya had an extra HD i would say toss that in after removing the other one and see if you can boot/install the OS on it with out shutdown If so...removing data and a full format and reinstall may fix things.
Those are the first few things I can think of at least....Heat is the biggest red flag to me right now.
