In which I am slightly less of a hermit

Although we never figured out the cause, painkillers and time seem to have worked out my mystery ache. Phew. Once I made it through a goodbye dinner on Wednesday without needing additional drugs, I got much more optimistic about the whole thing.

After an...interesting...end of the week at work, a couple of friends and I were going to go to dinner and then Hanna. We made it to dinner (Japanese curry place, so good, so many leftovers), but we decided to skip the movie since the last time we did that later on a Friday night, we were too tired to enjoy it. Instead, we went back to J's and watched How to Train Your Dragon, which was a more than acceptable substitute. The extra short on the DVD made me laugh. I think I need to acquire that one.

Yesterday, I opened up my storage for the first time in many months and took down my poor, neglected bike. I didn't go far, but I got air in the tires and dusted off the cobwebs, so at least there's that. I thought about going out again today, but it looks like my Dodgers are on TV, so that's going to take over the middle of the day, and I'd like to actually see a movie later.

Of course, the rest of yesterday was spent watching The Fabulous Adventures of Amy Pond, including the Christmas special that I hadn't seen. Simulcast FTW! All TV should be like that. Also, I think BBC America now shows more sci-fi than Syfy does.
