Media updates
I've been meandering my way through Farscape again and have made it through mid-S4. I've been trying to stick to two episodes per week to stretch it out, but the second ep today was "Unrealized Realities," and I can't watch that one without going through the next two, especially since I'll be away for the next two weekends. But now I'm sad that they're over. :-(
On the reading front, I'm tackling The Windup Girl. So far, comparisons to Gibson are accurate, but I'm having a tough time really getting into it. I'm only through four chapters, though, so we'll see. I'd appreciate not having a different PoV every chapter.
As far as the current tee-vees go, I'm watching various things but get most excited about How I Met Your Mother, Glee, and Community on a weekly basis. And, of course, Merlin, as long as I pretend Morgause enchanted Morgana during her captivity to make her all evil and smirky. This makes everything better!. No, there's no serious business in my viewing these days.
I'm not doing Yuletide - er, not that I've ever done it before - but in the interest of writing something this year, I'm going to offer up a story in the charity auction at work. Not as exciting as some of the things being offered, but at least it's participation. I just need to decide on a word count.
