Happy Birthday,

and
Happy Birthday,
sheryll!
It's the company's annual community service time, so a bunch of my team and I spent the morning painting the exterior of an
InnVision site. Good, hard work, for a very good cause.
After work, I took my car for a drive-through wash and managed to mess up the front left hubcap trying to position the car correctly. :-( It's warped out of its correct position in two places. It seemed stable enough like that, but I don't know whether there's other impact I haven't realized. I have a bad history with unintentionally expensive/disastrous car washes.
As for last night's
Glee, I thought it was a very fitting finale - lots of singing, lots of cheese, very representative of the show. Bonus: Will didn't sing anything horribly inappropriate and make me cringe! I never expected them to win Regionals, because they need to have something to fight for next season. Plus, I don't think the performance merited it, and in fact I would have been a bit irked had they come out on top of Vocal Adrenaline. The Journey medley was fun, but it totally dropped their recent strengths on the floor - the other voices, and the choreography/dancing elements.
I hope next season brings back NPH and Cheno (they should have been at school together, right? superstar reunion!) and does something with them that isn't just a retread of their previous eps. I hope that the much-telegraphed adoption brings Idina back, too, in some capacity, and of course I want to see Jesse again. It's sort of sad that we get more performances with him when he's an enemy, in which case, I hope they keep going back to that source of conflict. ;-) Mainly, though, I hope next season is as fun and silly, and occasionally sentimental, as this one was.
