It was nice and sunny this morning, but a very windy storm blew in later, so rather than spending much time away from home after my library run, I came back and missed being dripped on. Picked up two at the library - one, an A. A. Milne fantasy book I'd never heard of (Once on a Time, anyone know it?), and two, the first in the Song of the Lioness quartet, which various things have been reminding me of lately. I read the latter today. Funny how it seemed a lot longer and more complex the last time I read it. You know, when I was eleven. ;-)
Tomorrow, the weather will be better, but I plan to hang around and watch the hockey. While I'm rooting for U! S! A!, I won't be too sad to see some more Canadian joy, too. Mostly, I'm rooting for a good game all around.
Much as I've enjoyed the Olympics, I'll be glad to have my normal TV - and more important, sleep! - schedule back this week.
In highly anticipated news, I'm taking a long weekend at the parents' house at the end of March. My plan: enjoy the pool, hang out with my mom, and hug the cats, not necessarily in that order.
