I hear there are rampant BSG spoilers out in the wild and am terrified that I'll run across one undefended. It's going to be a treacherous week on LJ.

After the finale Friday, I'm going to be quite out of hour-long TV shows to shower with fannish energy. No more Stargate or BSG (for now). Pushing Daisies is long gone. Psych is on hiatus till ( Read more... )

I thought I was going to be that way (though I guess I did spend most of the last 9 years without an active show to watch regularly) but then I got hooked on Sanctuary and now Terminator (and, okay, the first is long done until S2 and I fear the second is going to be canceled...)

I'm sure you'll find something! Or there is always returning to old friends...

I might try Sanctuary again. I tried it before but found myself tuning it out. Maybe at an earlier time, I'd do better (am old lady, clearly).

I was totally not expecting to get into it - the premise just didn't sound like something I'm all that interested in. But I eventually gave it a shot for Amanda and found myself falling hard and fast for the characters, even if the writing isn't the best ever (Kindler is good with the ideas, but not so much with the plotting...)

I'll have to do some more TV exploration, it seems! I'm not a Nathan Fillion fan, but I've heard lots of good things about Chuck.

I like Chuck as well. And Sanctuary, which I hope comes back *soon*, and Leverage is my new shiny.

I've been watching more sitcoms - Big Bang Theory, the Office, and 30 Rock. Other than that...meh on tv.

Yeah, I probably shouldn't be looking for replacement TV and do more productive things instead. But how else will I turn my brains to mushy mush and feed the Hulu aliens?

Chuck!!!!!! is the way to go. Every episode of S2 is up on Hulu.com... the first season is good (and recommended Netflix fare) but I don't think it's totally necessary background to enjoy Season 2.

Wow, that's a lot of ringing endorsements for Chuck! I'll go for that first, I think.

I am literally reading my flist by peering through my fingers and scrolling really, really fast when I think I see something I don't want to see. I've never done this not-spoiled thing - it is hard.

So hard, but so worth it, IMO. I might even defriend my BSG communities for the week, just to be safe, or at least read on a filter.
