You know what the wheels on the bus do, don't you? Yes, you do.
Fandom, I love you, and you make me laugh. In addition to my oft-dreamed-of LJ post for fandom newbies, I sometimes wish we had an archive of Inevitable Fandom Conversations, sorted by subject and with descriptions of the arguments that will happen, the accusations and personalities that will be involved, and the way that it'll all be resolved so that people could save themselves some time rather than getting their wank on. It would be a guide to the discourse, not a wank archive; people could gently point budding flame-ups in its direction before they built up too much steam. All would be joy.
But then the other voice in my head remarks that people would probably get their wank on anyway, and it reminds me that I'm far too lazy to ever put such a compendium together. Off it goes, then, into the overflowing pile of my good ideas that'll never happen.

It's very nice out today, so since I had nothing on my To Do list but my taxes, I took off this morning and perused the farmer's market (got jelly) before plonking down at Diedrich's to write a little. I'm pretty happy (for now) with the scene I accomplished, but Jack was being too taciturn for me to go further, so I came home, whereupon I got sucked into reading fic. And now it's four-thirty. Oops?
