Suburban adventures in car-lessness
Today was definitely going to be the most challenging of the car-less days since I have voice class after work, and it went okay!
Rather than deal with trying to get my bike into my car (which would involve taking it apart, rearranging the interior of the car, and then putting it back together - not easy!), I parked it about halfway between home and the shop, then walked back home, drove my car in, and walked back to where I'd parked the bike.
This afternoon, I almost got caught up in work stuff but managed to get out just in time to make it to class. I underestimated the length of that segment a bit. Class ended around 7:25, which meant a little bit of daylight left (HOORAY SPRING FORWARD) though none by the time I got home. And then I was le tired.
Whether this continues depends on what the weather actually does. The forecast keeps changing. :-/ Basically, if it's raining when I get up, I'm rustling up a ride. Really hope they finish with the car early so I don't have to do Wednesday, as well.
