Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today after paramedics found him in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion
I don't know what to say right now. I'm still in shock. This man was my musical icon. I know that the last 15 years of his life was a trainwreck and that he was (to put it mildly) deeply troubled. But Michael Jackson's importance to music and pop culture cannot be overestimated.
I secretly hoped that one day he would get himself together and make great music again. And now it will never happen.
