300 days (err ok 293) Progress!
(This is copied from a wedding planning group I belong too, i just thought you guys might be interested too!)
Well I hadn't planned on making a progress post which is why I'm a few days late. Our wedding is at Wente Vineyards in Livermore on 10/26/08
My engagement ring
This is what it looks like with the wedding band
My dress! It was the 3rd or 4th one I tried on and I walked out with it that day. I really love the colors.
This is the brooch that will go on my bustle
I think I want my hair like this with a similar pearly headband.
I think this is the dress that we wil go with for the bridesmaids. They haven't tried it on yet though and they are both very busty so I'm not sure how it will work.
The Venue! I wish I had more pictures of the venue because it really is gorgeous. HOpefully by late autumn some leaves will have fallen, that will give it a really nice look.

I ordered a sample from them a few months back and they were SUPER helpful and the invitations are 100 times more gorgeous in person.
The inspiration for our candy bar! Our colors will be brown with accents of wine, orange and dark yellow.
I got my inspiration for my bouquet from this photograph. It's just such a weird bouquet so I had to have it.
I want mine to somehow incorporate some of these wine colored dahlias though
with this as my flower brooch
Our centerpieces will be tall with curly willows and different colored orchids and I'm hoping we can incorporate some hanging tea light votives.
This is our guestbook. The copper will tie in with our seating cards which will be made of copper/brass materal and engraved with guests names on them.
We are also having a photobooth from www.redcheese.com. I am SO excited about this. We are going to have our guests take pictures and put them in the guestbook with their names and well wishes.
We will soon be booking our officiant and DJ. We still haven't decided on a photographer. All of the ones we like are WAY above our price range. Someone actually quoted me...wait for it...12 THOUSAND dollars for a photography package today. I damn near died. We also haven't really talked about groom/grooman apparel yet. We know we don't want tuxes so we've gotta decide on some nice suits.
the planning bug has bitten me really hard lately and I'm coming back to this group hourly for new ideas, so keep em coming!
