So yesterday, I'm sitting very calmly talking to my boyfriend when all of a sudden, my mom runs in saying in a freaked out tone,"The news just said for everyone on Pershing and anywhere else where the dam broke to evacuate to Radford School!"
Well, I freaked out, because about 5 minutes after, my mom goes to close the back gate to the school, and lo and behold, a news reporter attacks my mother with the camera.
Radford Paparazzi!!
She closes the gate, and then runs back into the building. People are pouring in from the freeway on Altura and literally surrouding the school. Some people actually had the nerve to start shaking and yelling through gates. A police helicopter flew overhead and told all the numbnuts to go the front parking lot.
Thank you, you idiotic news stations who don't know how to communicate!!!
Originally, the news said for everyone to evacuate to the FRONT parking lot at Radford, but there's another parking lot in the back. Now comes in how stupid El Paso is, so the second they see a parking lot, they want into the school to get to the parking lot. Finally, they get the idea and go to the front parking lot where *bum bum bum* there are tons of buses waiting to pick them all up and take them to Ft. Bliss or something like that.
