Family vacation is over. I'm back home, which is niece and at the same time sad. I was liking the niece time out of the house with my family.
But everything has an end, doesn't it?
On other news, Tow Hers, the story I mentioned on my previous entry, is now called Two of Her and it's almost complete. I'm formatting it for submission and putting in the last details. I'll probably be rambling more about the story when it's officially in the post office.
In addition, I'd like to invite you all to my personal blog today:
Zora's Life. It's a new blog, so you'll find only two entries. However, I just feel like sharing a little something with you and that is my response for today's Fiction Friday.
What's Fiction Friday?
It's a little writing exercise by the site
Write Anything. The purpose is to use a prompt given by the site, write for five minutes or more and post it in your blog without editing. (For more info you may click
here.)
So why am I inviting you to see what I wrote today? Three reasons:
1. Well, mostly for fun and for getting comments.
2. I know some of you have been asking about how I write so I want to show you an extract of my writing. It's not much, and surely not close to my best work since it's unedited, but still, I'm hoping you'll like it.
3 Most Important Reason: I know most of my readers are writers so I'd like to introduce you to a new writing exercise. It will help stimulate your creativity, it'll challenge your writing skills and I know you'll have fun with it.
Today's prompt is: Pick two established characters, either from your own work or others'. Now write the scene/story of their meeting.
It's been a while since I've done Fiction Friday (I used to do it a lot on my previous blog), but I've been meaning to go back to the exercise and I saw the prompt yesterday and I had to do use it. I chose two characters from my novel, whose meeting is only mentioned but never described.
If you want to try the prompt too, you're not too late to submit. Let me know if you do. I'll gladly read and comment. :)
