A couple of new additions...
Yesterday, my friend Billie came to town. She moved out to Delta, CO (about 30 miles from the Utah border) a year ago and I haven't been able to see her much since then. So, she came by and picked me up and we went running around for a bit. This unexpected visit meant that I got less than 4 hours of sleep, but seeing her was worth it!
I got my hair cut again yesterday. I've given up on trying to grow this shit out...so I went super short again. I've missed having really short hair! It's spikey now (and red as hell, but it's been red for a couple of weeks now).
Last Sunday, at the metaphysical fair here in town, I got another henna done on my left wrist. This one is a floral vine design and I'm loving it. I really enjoy having art on my hand, and every time I get one of these it makes me want to get a tattoo there as well. *shrug*
I also got a couple of new piercings yesterday. I'm now the proud owner of an upper ear cartilage piercing (just a curved barbell for now, but I'll end up putting a hoop there once it's healed) and a nostril piercing (a simple silver ball for now, but I'll do the gem thing when I can). Neither are overtly obvious, but they make a subtle statement that I'm really liking.
In getting them done, I found a really good little shop here in the Springs that I'll probably get the rest of my work done at (tattoos and a few more ear piercings).
All in all, a good day. Now if I could only get my pool game back on track...*sigh*
