More on pool...and peni (is that the plural of penis?)
Well, Saturday night was my "stag" party with Fran. Unfortunately, I had to leave early so I could play in a tournament. The party was fun while I was there, though. We played multiple games that were penis-centric (ie, ring-around-the-penis, whack the penis pinata, the mini-penis walk and drop, and the wind-up jumping-johnny races). It was pretty hilarious watching grown women try to waddle down to a cup to drop their "willies" into. hehe I got some interesting party schwagg out of it too...a flashing penis headband, a penis whistle, a Playgirl magazine, and some little penis party favor type things. Think there was a theme going there? *grin*
I made it to the bar right in time to start the tournament. It was 9-ball, which I haven't played much of, and double elimination. My first match was against "Sprout". I won that one, 4 to 3. Next match was against Amy. She whooped my ass, 2-4. Third match was against "Sprout" again, with the winner going on to the finals. She won, beating me 3-4. So, I took fifth. "Sprout" took 4th, Amy took third, Ken (another team member of mine) took second, and first belonged to a guy named Jeff that I'd never seen before. He was A-fucking-mazing. From what I hear, he's ranked a 9 (which is considered professional). His shooting was a thing of beauty. He was the only undefeated person there that night. After the tournament was over, we stuck around for a bit to have a couple of drinks and listen to the very off-key karaoke (sp?). I've never heard so many wonderful songs butchered so horribly. *wince*
Tomorrow night is the next league match (8-ball). We're shooting at Gee Cues...and there is some bad blood between the owner of that bar and a member of my team. Fun. Should be an interesting night.
